WWII "Military Activities In The" U.S. Army Fold Out Postcard, UnusedFresh from an estate in as found condition is
this World War II "Military Activities of the" U.S. Army Fold Out Postcard in Unused condition. The cover is decorated with American Flags, and different Colored Flags to represent the various branches of the Army. There is also a group of planes on the cover, representing the Army Air Corps. The reverse side depicts an American Flag and the pledge of allegiance. The inside information describes the different branches. The fold out depicts different actions of these branches.
A Jeep is depicted and referred to as the new Army phantom car! Dating this Postcard to around 1941-1942 when the Jeep was first introduced. Other depictions are of bayonet drills, air corps flying formations, signal corps, mobile anti aircraft, and more.
Another interesting depiction is of indoor activities which includes pictures of soldiers writing home, in the mess, shining up, and playing checkers!

Condition:
This postcard is in as found vintage condition, exhibiting some wear from age. There is some slight discoloration on the cover, bumping and bending to the corners, and edge wear. The flap is tearing from each side towards the middle, but only has progressed an inch or so on each side.
