    Description

    This is a strand of handmade small ring shaped copper colored metal pinched beads called heishi
    which were crafted by the Ethiopian Oromo people in the villages of Southern Ethiopia, Africa. Good rustic condition these metal beads are slightly irregular shaped being handmade and are pinched together which is the traditional technique of construction and they are not soldered on the seams. These Ethiopian metal beads approximately measures 1.50mm long by 3.35mm wide and have an unknown metal content. The entire bead strand measuring the beads measures approximately 16.50 inches long. There are 10 strands available each single strand is . This Ethiopian metal bead set would look great in jewelry applications and are typically used as spacers between larger beads. These beads are made of a soft metal which is able to be slightly reshaped when needed with bead pliers.
