Antique Native American Hand Tooled Leather Whirling Log Holster & Gun Belt

Ultra rare from a collectors estate and believed to be one of a kind. Antique (c.1900-1920) Intricately hand tooled on both sides, this leather holster has 5 Native American Whirling Logs, 1 small, 2 medium and 2 large and is framed by Native American Symbols along the top and the edges of the holster and has the makers tooled initials CHW. Leather wrapped seam, (top 2 stitches repaired) see photos. Not a big deal for this ultra rare holster but duly noted. Not sure if it’s original to the holster but it came on this antique gun belt, cartridge belt, equally as old (circa 1900-1920). The belt is 40 ½” long end to end x 1 ¾” wide and has 20 cartridge loops. The belt is 100% stitched and the leather is soft and pliable. The buckle is missing but can be replaced. Otherwise, condition is exactly as pictured. I've never seen another one like it. Nice addition for a collector, etc.
The whirling logs are sacred Navajo emblems that pre-date World War II. The symbol all but disappeared from Navajo artists’ wares after the 1930s, making it extremely rare to find today. The whirling log represents humanity and life and is still used for healing in hundreds of Navajo ceremonies and can be seen around the world in different cultures going by different names.
