Powell, Director.  The original volume was printed in 1883 by the Government Printing Office, Washington D.C.  The work is reprinted in its original form using the same page and plate numbers.  Of the three-color plates in this volume, numbers I and XI are used on the front and back covers of this reprint.  All color plates are reproduced in black-and-white throughout this edition.  This book is a concise and in-depth study of the Zuni Indian fetishes and pictures about 75 examples of these fetishes.
