Recycled recycled brass handcrafted in Ghana, Africa. Each bead was handmade from wax and then cast with recycled melted molten brass, no two are identical. This is an ancient traditional casting process that dates back to the 7th century. These beads have a rustic ancient feel and you may find that the beads may reflect the the ancient process with a missing wire, small dents, etc as you might find from beads not made by modern machinery. This is a quickly dying craft and will soon disappear.
A long  strand of hand made filigree basket weave near round. As they are hand made they vary in size measuring on average  12-13.5mm with possibly larger and smaller on each strand. Approx 48  beads @ approx 19 1/2 - 20 inches of beads
