The Pipe Bowl comes with our “no questions asked” return privilege and our lifetime guarantee of authenticity. It is guaranteed to be deemed authentic, original and as described by any qualified third party authentication service.
This very rare and very beautiful, ca1880’s Northern Plains / Sioux Catlinite Pipe Bowl is in displays beautifully and is in very good condition. The Bowl has a very old, high quality repair at the center of the horizontal element below the bowl – we have included close-ups below of this repair for completeness but when viewing the Pipe Bowl in hand, the repair is unobtrusive. There are 2 small and very old chips at the anterior end and one at the edge of the posterior end as can be seen in the scans below. There is some discoloration from use on the table of the bowl opening as can be seen in the scans below. The Bowl is carved from a single piece of Pipestone and we can not stress enough how beautiful and impressive this wonderful 19th century artifact is!!
A very rare and original, ca1898’s Native American Northern Plains / Sioux Indian, large size, Hand Carved Catlinite Pipe Bowl and a fantastic addition to any collection!!!

    Important Notes about Shipping Charges:
The amount quoted for Shipping & Handling is calculated by eBay and is equal to the EXACT amount charged by the Post Office plus a .00 "packing fee" - the .00 fee is our only compensation for the virgin packing materials we use on all of our professionally packaged boxes as well as our cost for the salaried help that does most of our packing - as I am sure you can see, we make NO profit on the Shipping charges and, in fact, our costs are usually greater than the .00 fee. Please contact us if there are any issues regarding the cost of shipping.
